My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How high is this shelf off the floor?

    Counters are generally 34-36" off the floor, the distance from the counter to the bottom of the cabinets is 18"--my eyeball says that mantle is 40" from the top of the counter or 76" from the floor.

    PS--usually there are minimum and maximum measurements given for the vent height over burners (based on btu's and vent strength). If you are looking to place one of these over your stove be sure to follow the recommendations.
