I was debating on which hardwood floor to choose for my upstairs bedrooms and den, approximately 680 square feet total. The first picture below caught my eye. I really like the natural and unique look. I am just afraid that it might be too much for a larger area. The 2nd one is exactly the same pattern with enhanced color to make it less contrast.

Any comments you gave is highly appreciated.
