Is this floor suseptible to staining?

My designer is recommending this floor in my powder room and laundry. I am concerned about staining and etching. Thanks.

    Depending on the limestone you select it may be more or less porous and generally does not hold up well to any corrosive or abrasive cleaning solutions. Having said that, it should hold up well cared for and under normal circumstances. Talk with your tilesetter or local stone supplier to find out about more on the specifics of the material you are considering.
