It would be a real challenge to make curved bifold doors - you're looking at something custom and very expensive, I'm sure. Even faceted straight panels would be tricky, especially with regard to weather seals and hardware. Try inquiring with Lowen, Nana Wall, La Cantina, etc.... but you'll probably need to talk to a local high-end artisan.

Building curved doors is not the challenge , that can be done either by cutting the curve or laminating the curve. The real challenge is finding the glass company that can do the curved glass. We like challenges, give us a call 727-631-2882

Doing a curved wall of lift slide doors is not a problem. Check out our website, there is a project which shows a 40 foot curved wall of doors that is competely retractable.

We do curved-in-plane doors and windows all the time. The bigger issue is trying to do them in a slide and fold application as shown above. Think about the stacking problems- concave/convex/concave/convex etc... The better solution would be curved lift and slides. We recently completed a 360 degree multi-track unit prox 24' diameter where all the panels stack into two locations. Absolutly doable! Thanks... Chuck

yep! we make curved liftslides, too. Most of our customers ask for our aluminum profile and we can attach a wood interior cladding so it looks like a wood door on the inside but has the low maintenance aluminum exterior. We've also done S-curves which are two curved doors back to back.

How much did that Ten panel bi-fold clad wood, 30 ft door cost? I'd like to do this in our next house and have no idea the cost. Thank you

It was not cheap: approx. $1000 per lineal foot for the Loewen product. Source: Bill Peterson at Glass Concepts in San Rafael, CA. (415-256-9766). That does not include the cost of the structural opening.

what would be the complete total cost for a nana wall that would be 15 ft long? we live in north georgia on the lake and are trying to find one that would not break our budget. RIght now we are settling for french doors but we both really want a nana wall.

Laura, your best bet would be to contact a NanaWall representative directly to find out cost information. There are a lot of things that need to be taken into consideration, including required structural work, material choice and different features for each type of door that will affect your total cost. Best of luck with your project!
