Our 1923 home has two fireplaces. The living room fireplace works and burns wood. The basement/family room fireplace can only be electric because the second flu was taken for the heating system prior to our buying the home. I would like to remove the second fireplace to improve the flow of the room and replace it with the entertainment center. Am I harming resale value?
