We are finishing the basement at our beach house. The room is long and narrow with 2 egress windows at one end that lets in natural light. The other end is dark but we are having lights installed to brighten it up. Looking to do a nautical theme to highlight memorabilia from my husbands lifeguard days (red & white buoys, old pics in driftwood frames) & marine career (blue uniform, black & white pics of his "boats"). Wanted to keep the walls neutral & was thinking about a canvas or sailcloth color for the walls and not sure of the trim. Any suggestions? My painter is using Sherwin Williams paints. Thanks!
