The red looks good but to me it looks too small. You could try pulling it into the centre of the space instead of under the sofa. Free floating might be best. If not, a bigger one might be necessary. Sorry! Good luck from Montreal!

I think you need one more vibrant color other than the red such as a teal;) Maybe a fun little accent chair?

I really like this room. I agree with Rebecca to move the red rug more to the center of the space between the sofa and the console. And pretty pillows for sure. Also you may consider red and white Carnations in a pretty vase. Carnations last a long time before they wither and bring a bit of color and freshness to a room.

I'd get some red, beige and black pillows for sofa.

Thanks a lot for the comments! I will try moving the rug, and getting the pillows and the flowers. I will wait on the art but i think its a great idea too.
