My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Finding a designer that will work on a very small budget - Chicago

We bought a new house two years ago and it needs updating. We need paint and furniture foremost but will eventually want to go all hardwood and renovate the kitchen. I need to find a designer who will help design a plan of attack so I can make changes over time (as budget allows). I'm talking furniture from Home Goods, Target, West Elm etc. These designers I see here in Chicago area all do such beautiful work but by the looks of it, we'll never have the budget to hire someone. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
