I Need IDEAS Help with my little kitchen........................??????

Hi I am looking for help with my kitchen.
We are moving into our rental property that we own and will live there for at least 2 years and probably move out and use it as a rental again.
The kitchen and dining room are very small as is our budget.
Can i get some ideas on how to do this kitchen so it functions properly. The length is 10 feet 9 inches without the cabinets and sink. The width is 8 feet.
The adjacent dining room separated by the half wall is the same length and the width is 8 feet 7 inches.
The dining room walks out to a deck and a nice big back yard. The other wall in the kitchen is adjacent to the living room and there is an entry door beside where the fridge should be in the picture under the cabinets.I would love to have some sort of open concept but i think there are 2 load bearing walls for this kitchen and there also seems to be a bulkhead above the cupboards.

12 years agoHi I am asking about both actually as i came from a fabulous kitchen and now moving to this, lol. I will attach more pictures. It depends on money in the long run and that i have to be comfortable in the kitchen as i cook alot. Directly across from the stove is where the fridge used to be and to the left of that is an exterior door. I thought of putting the stove right beside the fridge on the other wall and changing the cabinetry. I do not like that half wall and trying to achieve some sort of open concept. I have enclosed one picture of some wonky cupboards against the wall that adjoins the living room. I thought of putting in nice cupboards there and making all the cupboards go right up to the ceiling.
Then i had the thought of making a nook with bar stools and a granite top where the wood partition is now. If you can offer any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
