Your coffee table is too small in scale. You need only have one window treatment the green ones. You need a rug that fits the room. The black wall needs an accent paint color. Green or red like is in the lounge chair. Pillows on your sofa do not match. Then a big piece of photo art on that wall. IKEA has very large images on canvas that are great looking and fill a wall beautifully. A city scape would be nice.

Some fun ways with removable wallpaper:

Hi!!!! Your's being a rental apartment i am suggesting the following :
1. On the blank wall you can put up framed hand made paintings that anybody in your family has made (yourself, kids, etc.)
2. Old plates having classical designs can also be composed and hung on the wall.
3. Random shade of paint just above the coffee table will also add drama.

You can also use mirror murals.
The space doesn't look too big in the photographs. i would advise to play smart with your choice of wall treatments as wrong choice could make the existing space feel n look smaller.

What is the existing flooring??? Laminated flooring or hard wood or wooden-look carpet???

There are a variety of designs available in vinyl flooring. They are easy to install and maintain too.
There are loop carpets available. Any decent vendor would offer you variety of carpets with designs. There are designer carpets from 'Kyle Bunting' which are expensive but exclusive... U can check for customization too.
If u wish to have tiles....u can also get 4mm thick tiles glued on the existing surface( u may have to remove the existing flooring)
