I am remodeling the garden level of my 80s 4 level split home. The room is approximately 22 feet by 9 feet. One of the long walls is windowless and completely understand unobstructed. The opposite long wall has 2 doors and a stairway opening and several juts in the wall. One short wall has 2 window and the other short wall has 1 window. Should I arrange the furniture with the focal point on the long wall or put the focal point on a short wall? I don't want to have any permanent divider but would rather use furniture to define areas. I hope this is not too confusing without a photo. I would certainly appreciate ideas or shared experiences with similar floor plans.
