Oh yes, remove the wall. The poor 80s get blamed for so much. That just looks like bad taste.

Our house is 36 years old. We just removed the wall between our diningroom and kitchen that was not load-bearing. We also took out part of a wall on the adjacent wall. So we expanded the kitchen into the dining area and moved our diningroom into our living room since we also have a family room that we can now use as our living area. Anyway, our kitchen was expanded to accommodate much needed storage and we have a TV and a couple of chairs at the end. It was not a cheap remodel since we gutted everything, but is all so much more open.

Tear down that wall! :)

Oh, I was thinking of a different wall that came down in the 80's... take yours down too!

This looks behind the times, even in the 80s . . Maybe it will come back some day?
