I know that farmhouse sinks are popular, well made and expensive. With that said, to me they are not always pleasing. Does anyone else agree or am I alone in this? The sink in this lovely kitchen is drawing all the attention. It does so I think because it is a brighter white than the gentle quiet yellow white of the BM Cloud White cabinets. It also does so because its front profile extends beyond the front profile of the cabinets (as they usually) and it chops the profile of the woodwork over which it is placed. Would not a deep undermount sink been better than a farmhouse sink that is announcing "look at me." To me, in color and size, it takes away from the overall soothing look of this lovely kitchen.
