I love the space, but can see the challenge. I think if you make a few changes in other places in the room, it will eliminate a lot of your concern about the "corner". I am assuming that you own and can install lighting.

In addition to the art you have on order, I think you need a piece of tall storage furniture to the right of the sofa - maybe with some glass front, display shelves - vertical interest - a little color. Lamp(s) on top? Light source inside? This will provide some light in that area.

Consider some art on the wall between the end of the entertainment unit and the window.

The rug under the sofa should be pulled out more toward the front of the sofa, leaving the front legs resting on it - which I think will make the entertainment unit and sofa feel more cohesive. Put the lamp that you have in the left corner beside the sofa on the free end. Then position the glass top table and chairs in what you think is the perfect position and hang a gorgeous large modern chandelier over it.

Experiment with floor vase / arrangements in the space between the windows, or under the art work. i think its okay to have some empty spaces, especially in front of windows so don't worry if the floor vases don't work out. Let the architecture shine and hopefully any view that you have on the other side of those windows.

You can also consider some wall sconces over the sofa on either side of art - don't know - just think about it. Trying to find ways to get light into your space may require some electrical work.

One other thought - if you hang art in the space between the entertainment unit and the window, you can get lamps that hang above the art and illuminate it. If floor vases / silk plants work out under that art, you can get small up-lights that sit on the floor and illuminate it. One other thought for that area instead of wall art is a vertical very tall fountain that sits on the floor and creates a wall of water trickling down, with perhaps some sort of lighting? I have seen fountains like that and they are beautiful.

What's basically missing over the dining table is lighting. If not feasible to install one, why not use some of these quirky ball lights to illuminate your space?

Have you thought about an arc light?

A fiddle leaf fig looks great in contemporary spaces but it does need a decent amount of natural light (I'm not sure how much the room gets during the day).

Love the arc lamp idea, they always make such a great impact in rooms.
