Kitchen remodel is giving me nightmares!

I am doing an extensive kitchen remodel. I have a small wall that is 72" from door opening to wall as you will see from the attached plans. My designer keeps telling me the only way a 36" refrigerator is going to fit is to extend the wall out another almost 20". The sink in the attached plans can also be moved. His cabinet layout shows a 33" lazy Susan and a 15 base cabinet. It seems like this can be changed to accommodate for a refrigerator without having the added cost of adding linear footage. Please help!!!!
