I am not sure if the space allows it, but I would try this distribution: Put the TV over the fireplace (Being cautious about giving appropiate distance and maybe adding a moulding to separate it from the heat...) I'd also put the bigger sofa in front of the TV-fireplace (it will be angled towards the room), and will put the ottoman on one side and the white chair on the other side (maybe you can put the other sofa in another room) I think it might be to much furniture for the space.

From what I see, the colour of your walls and the furniture - both are similar. The shade is dull and needs a contrast to make the room come alive. What stands out is the only cushion with red flowers. The paintings on the wall are also of the same color. If you do not want to change these, then the best options are for you to add colour to the room in the form changing the upholstery in the sofa and adding cushions with bright colours. You can also add a dash of green with plants if you are interested. I see that you have electrical points too. Add lamps in the corners with shades that are bright - it will add light and bring colour to your room. Similarly, change the carpet (not the base one) by adding ones with colour.

It is a lovely space. Just needs you to get creative and bold. Good luck.

I think that I'd firstly work on the spatial distribution, so you don't have all the furniture against the walls, and would place the TV somewhere easier to look at, like mentioned before, I think a great place would be over the fireplace. After arranging the distribution, I would work on the decoration, I agree with sapnapg that the room is monochromatic so adding some accents (coloring a wall darker, adding some interesting decoration pieces and cushions) would add interest to it. Maybe adding an area rug over the room carpet would help to define the space and will help you distribute your furniture. The space is great and have lots of light so it can holds a darker wall! :o)

Too much furniture for a small space - I would suggest small pieces, and it is not necessary for the furniture to match (i.e. it looks like it is from the same set). I am not sure that placing the TV over the fireplace is a good idea (although it may be) because the wall is small and it angles down on one side. Also, your current arrangement blocks both the fireplace and the outside door and, in general, you have everything pushed up against the walls, which may not necessarily be a good choice. As for wall color, look in your closet; what are your favorite colors? I agree with the others, you need a pop of color!

you are lining up the furniture against the walls. Try putting a sofa in front of the fireplace, with the love seat and chair on either side. If you can't put the tv over the fireplace , then move it to where the picture is with a large dresser for movie storage and to help hide the wires--your chair could go next to this. I would find a place in front of the sofa for the ottoman, use a tray for items such as drinking glasses or remotes etc. Good luck. I think you'll like the furniture away from the walls.
