I oiled our decks, but the color still seems faded and the dust seems to stick. (we wiped them down pretty well months ago when we oiled them)

    Hi and thanks for your great comments, the type of wood we used on this projetc was Mangaris which is a hard wood, but with a great color. At th placce where we shop for this type of wood they recommed using "Anchorseal" to help prevent moisture wicking. But from there, the color you see its the actual color of the wood.

    Does the mangaris get hot? what made you choose this? It looks awesome!

    It will never get as hot as a composite decking material, and we went with it because of the natural beauty of it and the durability of the material. If you have a project in mind for your outdoor material go with this or with Ipe wood. Best of luck

    This decking is awesome! How did you attach the wood to the concrete? I can see screws in the wood - floor beams?
