Need Help choosing Carpet colour for our beachside pad.

We are about to lay whitewash engineered flooring in our little Sydney beachside unit. We are carpeting two bedrooms that are away from the main living area but meet the hallway where the floorboards will be. One is a kids room so we need a dark tone of something...help! The walls are a very light cream shade and will be painted more of a classic white further down the track.

HI -- I would have all the bedrooms with the same flooring . Indoor /outdoor carpeting is a good option , and I am not talking about the green grass stuff . Also Flor carpet tiles is a good product . Many color and pattern choices and single squares can be lifted and cleaned and put back or replaced if damaged . Great for kids rooms or anywhere . Remember,- dark carpets or floors shows every little bit of lint and dirt etc.
