My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    How is that vent installed flush with the ceiling? On the Modern-Aire website, it appears to extend down from the ceiling. Does the ceiling have joists on 16" centers above the vent? Thanks for any insight you can offer!!!

    Based on the age of the house, 100 yrs old and the height of the ceiling 7' foot this vent hood was perfect. The fan motor is remote. Very unusually built home.
