We are buying this house and I despise this wall! The builder in the area thought it was a good idea to place the fireplace off center so he could put a hole for a TV in the Fireplace surround. Not only is the TV almost on the floor, it just looks plain ugly! Ideally, I'd like to remove the entire stone surround, center the fireplace and use stacked stone. We don't plan on having a TV in that room at all, but I'm at a loss as to what to do with that hole and how to decorate that wall. Please help!
