I'm the homeowner, I'm not a professional, I did my piano myself with Valspar products from either Lowes or Home Depot. It was easy. I'm sure you could experiment DIY and eventually achieve your desired result. Otherwise, I suggest finding a Houston-based designer and ask for a referral/pro refinishing recommendation.

I'm on the road traveling for the weekend, so I'm not able to look up the exact products - it was done several years ago so it's not top of mind (I've actually redone it again since this was posted) but remember a white base, a turquoise, a clear crackle treatment and some weathering techniques. The pro refinishing was meant to insinuate finding someone who professionally refinishes furniture. That or perhaps a mural artist, I'm honestly not sure. I'd ask the interior designer you work with, maybe they can be of help determining someone to help you. Good luck!
