    Hi Ms. Meisels - Wondering if you can recall if the 4'x8' marble slabs were standard 3/4" depth, or were they a thinner cut, made specifically for wall cladding?

    They were marble veneer with an aluminium backing. Good luck!

    Thank you, Ms. Meisels. I've used engineered porcelain (Stintered Compact Surface) with great results, but never a marble veneer on aluminum. Is there a brand name you could cite to help me (and other Houzzers) research and find out more?
