Seeking input: We are remodeling our kitchen and the cabinets are in. There's a lot of natural cherry and the floors are natural oak. Backsplash is going to be a grey/blue marble with some variation in it. Looking for good ideas on a color to paint the walls that provide a contrast to all the wood and yet still go with the marble tile? The only thing I've come up with is a warm cream color, but that's kind of more of the same. Or is it? Not sure. Attached is an image of the current state of the kitchen with white primer on the walls. What you don't see is that there are other built in cabinets in the room of the same cherry. Beautiful but looks a little like "room of wood!" to me. I want it to look light and contemporary. Thanks for ideas!
