Maybe the lighting is bad or my monitor is off, but your counters and cabinets look like they don't really complement each other. The gray cabinets look purple and the countertops look very yellow. Why the rush? You could have just put some plywood on the cabinets while waiting for counters.

Could you please provide us with another photo? There are some shades and it's actually not possible to see the real color of your cabinets.

Please provide a picture from farther back. I agree with the above poster -- on my computer, the cabinets and countertop glaringly clash.

I would go with an off white/cream (not bright white) ceramic tile. Are you painting the wall color? I don't think the organgy beige is helping.

I see some gray areas in your counter top. I would go with a back splash that pulls more out. Repaint the walls, but not a gray so it's not everywhere. A coolish white might tone down the yellow in the counter even more. Maybe add champagne gold hardware so everything looks intentional. Good luck!

White herringbone or white arabesque w/ white or pale grey grout.

A job I did. They ruined the look with charcoal grout.....just keep it simple.

Since you have gray cabinets I would stay away from a gray backsplash.

The beige is not playing nice at all & needs to go.

Adex Neri is a subway tile and it comes in a color called bone, but it is not a bone color. It is very slightly off white. We have used it with bianco romano granite and it worked well. It would be subtle with the cabinets and countertops and not be a stark white, which may stand out too much. This customer selected the beveled but I would prefer just a plain subway. This is the bone color and this is bianco romano granite.

solid color, for sure -- a pattern will compete with the counters. probably I'd go with some shade of white/off-white, to contrast with counters and cabinets. bring home a few samples and test them against the counter, looking for one what coordinates with undertones there.

Rough idea of what grey, white, and cream would look like.

I like the crisp white look and brushed nickel hardware..then change wall color to a neutral off white. Pretty everything.The tile could be a shape other than subway if you want..just not too elaborate.

The gray subway is more serious if you like that and the white doesn't pull in any of the colors in the counter. I would suggest as others have an off-white (not cream) or noe color that is a bit warmer than white and will pull from counter's colors better. You're almost there. Subway is a clean look with the busy counters I wouldn't add more pattern.

the grey backsplash makes the counter look yellower, so dont do that. do the offwhite.
