Sorry to hear and what a pain to deal with - glad you were able to return it. It looks like that size sectional worked in the space and might be a size to consider if you go that route.

Love Macy sofa and two chairs with a glass coffee table. Not very keen of Black and Tan curtain. If you want to add some color add colorful cushions. Beautiful space

ok I get rid of the blk/tan curtains..I have these curtains I purchased for the bedroom but I can swap or keep or ditch. I will keep you all updated with pics. This really means a lot to me that you all are helping me.

You can add a color that you like in the rug and in the drapes. I looked through your ideabook and the rooms that you have collected are relatively neutral with a lot of white. Given that, you might choose a white sofa, white drapes and if you want, even a white shag rug, although then on top of that, I would have a coffee table with a color contrasting with the white. With those neutrals, you could add the color that you liked in art and accessories like pillows, throws, etc. Or if you wanted to add color, you could choose a color that you like and then one option would be to have the same color in the drapes and rug to contrast with the white.
Some people like to start with art for colors. Find some art you really love that would work over the seating and then take colors from there. Good luck!

I purchased the Chesterfield and the art piece. I'm going to add blk, red as accent colors. The long ottoman was in my bedroom. I'm not sure if i'll leave it in the living room. I also purchased White curtains and the chair below, and the ladder shelves in blk.

i also purchased these curtains/shelves and an all white shag area rug. I'm having a hard time choosing end tables, they must be blk i think to match ladder shelves

Happy New Year 2U! All the other sofas had a wait time of 3 weeks or more. I need to try to get it decorated Asap. My son entered me in the wish for others sweepstakes and I won $5000 to furnish my place. We have to send them pics showing he made my wish come true. He had to go back to work offshore for 4 weeks so he can't help but my daughter in law has been giving me advice. I thought I had won a smaller prize. I'm very excited about this. A lot of the other items will be in next week and i'll post more pics. The chair came today but I don't really like the color it was lighter online. Also I think i'm gonna put the ottoman back in the bedroom. It doesn't look right???

yeh I agree. In a way it'd be nice to have a nice metal coffee table, instead of more fabric. The chair seems ok, and I see your throw on it! White curtains and beige/linen chair with throw using both of those neutrals... and to win something is a thankful thing...

I just had a thought - a large tray over the ottoman? End tables don't have to match - actually the black will occupy more visual space - maybe a light metallic? I assume you'll be posting photos of ladders and tv.....

yes these are the tables i purchased, they have a removable blk tray and i'm thinking of getting this vase etc to put on the bottom to tie in with the red in the art pic.. my daughter in law said i should get bigger pillows for the sofa, the ones on there too small. I haven't chosen any yet.

Well I'll try - the black end tables are nice, and modern/ simple like your kitchen! so that's good.When I see the curved piece it's shown on wood much like your floor. I'm not sure I'd put it underneath the black though. It might need a different location just to my eye...nothing wrong with different metals/ finishes, but the gold-bronze doesn't work with the chrome table I just realized...

Lady art seems too stark with its black background against light neutrals everywhere -- don't know this either and size...

Usually over the sofa there'd be rectangular art placed horizontally. I see your art with lamps etc. but seems your sofa goes more plush... I wonder if you like the sofa, and is it so long you wouldn't want 2 end tables? and still walk in door?

Yes, i'm gonna put the sofa on the longer wall, I was waiting til the bookcases, rug etc arrive. Thanks for the tip on the art. I never thought about that. The sofa is ok, It wasn't my 1st choice but it arrived fast i'm stuck with it. It was shipped by mail and i tossed out the boxes. I may change the art and leave out red all together. This is another art piece I saw and loved.

Very nice - I was at the beach recently and there's an appeal to sand no doubt....love is the theme... :) ... A casual piece that could have oh let me see... is that sand on the rug?!
Buy this one for over sofa, and LOVE beach for other wall later.. if needed...
