Look specifically at how the upper cabinets are painted ... they are white, but the doors are black ...
Consider the end of this island as an idea for the 'drop zone' area in kitchen ...
The corner cabinet off to the left looks nice ...
Notice the extra counter space/table that blends into the other cabinetry ... think 'drop zone' area ...
Note how the pantry cabinet in the background is less deep than the cabinet to the right of it ...

A thought for the 'drop zone' area near the light switch (kitchen) ...
So, this is a thought for how I might be able to incorporate a rolling work surface into the kitchen, but in a way that it can tuck under an existing cabinet, pulling out if needed.
