... a 36"X36" corner sink base cabinet. With that you can fit a traditional single bowl sink (25X22 self-rimming or 23X21 undermount). Anything much larger than that would have to be pushed further back towards the corner. If you intend to install a single sink in a standard sink base cabinet, you can make it deeper than the standard 8 inches. By placing a 10- or 12-inch-deep sink in the corner, you make up for some of the space you give up with a narrower sink.
COMFORT and elegance. but lighter wood needed also preferably easy clean fabric or leather
like rattan or sea grass counter stools - love organic elements
Erin, if I do pendant lights, I like simple small, glass. This picture is for reference as pendants that look too big. Ha - I could go either sleek minimalist or antique-ish.
corner sink w/ window on 1 side. Want to consider if there is enough leg room to open the dishwasher.
I like this pantry door which includes shelves at bottom.
I like the old fashion touch of double hung windows. Would love more than one. Don't like the apron sink (I think thats what its called.) I prefer the below counter sink that one can sweep stuff into
This picture helps me visualize how IF the island (peninsula) were placed between kitchen and dining room would look. Looks pretty good. This would allow more free flow into living room too.
I like the blend of wood with white cabinets
like the wooden counter with white contrasting cabinets
fun homey! - but oh those cabinet knobs And BTW, my house is all electric.- so electric range it is
nice backsplash! nice floor
even though I really think white is what will work for my kitchen reno - I like these new color woods - also like these handles for cabinets
- cabinet beauty without the traditional cabinet inlays - rather - beauty created by the mix of rectangles -
not exactly what I would want - but do love the sleekness
love this casualness - sleek cabinets mixed with hominess
Small note. First photo I saw on houzz - DON'T CARE FOR island/peninsula that has visual of cabinet hardware on cabinets where stools are placed.
Erin, I ordered a pendant from birch lane similar to this - but black cord and seeded clear glass 10"wide x 10"high. AFTER MUCH CONTEMPLATION - whew! hours and hours and hours of perusing web and stores. Wanted something see thru, simple, not too big, not too small and with some gold/brass. Last thing to order is window treatments - getting closer to simple, with an appreciation for some silh.ouette of nature when sun comes thru as this was a quality I enjoyed in the past Large anthropologie picture and this lighting fixture are due to be delivered by 5/31.
