what paint is appropriate for painting a red brick wall? - Do I also need to use primer and finishing coat for red brick wall painting? Hello, we did use a primer for masonry to paint the brick. I requested it from my local Ben Moore store. We did two coats of paint over the brick but no finish coat. Wall BM Cement Gray and The backsplash is 3"x6" carerra marble tile. Very accessible and reasonably affordable!
