Shelves along wall over top of Mirror squares in kitchen could be natural pine w/black or rubbed bronze, etc. The baskets hide stuff in plain sight & make the storage into basket art. A combineation of my glass/chrome canisters with a live fern, heart leaf philodendron & a pull out basket or 2 would be very attractive. The same might be good over the French Doors too with all baskets.
I love the idea of taking everything out of the pantry, other cabinets & rethinking it all. Getting rid of things not used, etc. This would greatly increase space in my small kitchen. I plan to do this after reno is done in back part of house.
I like the natural wood shelves (could possibly replace my "wavy" shelf w/thick natural wood? A Butcher block island top is also a possibility for another spot of natural wood - floors will be the 3rd. If I were to go with two tone cabinets I'd choose medium grey for the bottom cabinets.
