This is along the lines I'm thinking. I really like the mixture of wood with the light cabinets. Not sure I like the marble add in though. And I have been attracted to a lighter wood, but open to this idea

See the low discreet of pulls on the upper cabinets. we saw that this weekend in the same material as the cabinet, We really liked it. It was discreet on the bottom of each cabinet.

We prefer a solid big picture window in the kitchen. We wouldn't be opening it.
