We want one or two office/desk areas in the guest house so our adult children can work there if necessary. Don’t know exactly how to do that, but this is an interesting option.

Privacy room divider - maybe something like this covering 2/3rds of area between bunk bed room and main bedroom - with pull down desk, shelf above it, on each side and then something movable for the remaining 1/3 of the wall that can be closed or open depending on whether bunk area is in use.

Bunks built in again, looking very cosy. We would probably not want upper bunks, but would like some cubby storage and maybe one ladder to get to the storage. Built in overhead lights in bunk areas are very nice. Practical issue : how to make queen size beds if they are built in like this? Can the bed pull out?

Dining table integrated into kitchen island - Steve is less taken with the dining table being elevated above the island because he doesn’t like high chairs for dining. I like either and think the look of this is very nice. Especially the concrete table.

Two level island, lower level for eating. This is another way of incorporating the dining table into the island. I don’t know if there is enough room for this and still have the island be useful for prep and cooking. Thoughts?
