My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Interesting "bar" that connects through the window to the inside there. Also the roof/ ceiling relationship between the porch and the interior space.

Interesting "roof" material. I suspect something like this wouldn't fare well in our climate, but might be worth considering.
Also, I like the arrangement of benches around the central space (although in a driving rain those wouldn't stay dry).

Outdoor shower.

Cool idea for creating an outdoor room on a sloping site.

Interesting sequence of cascading levels outside, for sloping site

Rustic feel, integration of plants.

Even though these aren't my typical preferred materials, I like the creativity and mixture of shapes and colors. Also the canvas roof...

I just like the feel of this space: inviting, lived-in, sense of openness and closure mixed together

Bar as functional element.
This would be easy for me to build and I will have plenty of natural-cut boards like that (walnut, elm)

Sense of nature integrated into living space
Good use of space (built in bench could also double as storage unit)

Visual aesthetic. Cool ceiling!

Fireplace, sense of space & movement going on with the ceiling/ roof
Visual integration of green trees and building

Suspended couch-thingy is cool! (And potentially this could be built to be raised up out of the way to turn the space into a dance floor...)

Appearance resulting from materials and light. From a practical standpoint I'd like more rain protection but this looks cool...

Materials, textured feel. Rustic quality

Overall aesthetic: combination of materials and textures, sculptural quality, integration of porch with roof shapes, flaring slopes on dormers, bungalow-style pillars.
I would prefer it if all three dormers were the same size. The one on the left looks a bit top-heavy.
