Focal point, the life preserver in the center of the wall is the focal point.

Gradation, the tiles on the wall gradually change from one color to another.

Transition, the arches in this ceiling carries your eyes down to the view outside of the window.

Repetition, the repetition of the pattern in the rug and the color of the furniture is a form of repetition.

Radial Balance, the round table in the center of the four chairs places the focus to the center of the room.

Asymmetrical, this room has a couch and two different styles of chairs and end tables. They are different but provides a balance to the room even though there is not an equal amount on each side of the room.

Symmetrical balance, the cups and glasses on the left are equally spaced when compared to the bowls and plates on the right side. As with the chairs at the table, they are equally spaced apart of each other.

Proportion, the lemons and flowers on the island are different in scale but the placement is proportionate and complimentary. As with the size of the chairs, if they were shorter the balance would be off.

Scale, the toddler chair in the play area compared to the stools at the island are much smaller.

Pattern, The different patterns in the blinds, curtain, pillow and carpet are all complimentary but different in tones setting them apart.

Light, sunlight through the windows make the room look bright, open and inviting.

Texture, it adds another inviting layer of comfort to the bedroom.

Forms, the ladder to reach the books is an example of forms.

Diagonal, the slanted ceiling with skylight automatically brings your eyes upwards.

curved because of the curved doorways and the curved feature in the wall with the stature looks delicate and graceful.

Horizontal because the fireplace is the focal point showing strength in it’s height and brick

This is an example of vertical line because the curtains length are from the top of the wall to the floor.
