Knapp Front Door

Don't care for this at all!! The door and sidelights match but the entire effect seems dated and not the style we like- maybe because of the brick facade

Door with simple panels is appealing

Eyebrow arch is similar to your architectural elevation

This seems different from our door configuration especially because the style of the panels in the door are different from the sidelights so the darker door makes more sense with the white surround.

All White- doors, transom, trim

All White Door and Surround- if you picture this on the exterior as the outside house color would be a contrast

If you picture this stained mahogany, it was your original thought but the prices are coming back $18-20,000

This is what you see a lot with a stained door- where the entire door and transom are stained but it seems visually heavy.

This is somewhat similar to ours if you envision a single door with sidelights. The transom becomes part of the trim

I wish we had an exterior view of this door. The door configuration is more similar to ours in that the doors and sidelights match.
Q

Only the center door is contrasting in this photo but I am not sure that works for us depending on the way the door and sidelights are all one unit.

An example of the transom being part of the trim instead of part of the door assembly. I don't like the sidelights being painted the door color because it makes them seem really skinny.
Q

All of the Door/Transom components are painted and the trim alone is white. It would be easy to paint especially since you cannot match stain colors from different vendors
Q

Doors and sidelights are dark stained wood and entire surround including the transom and trim is white. I think this would look better with just the door stained and not the sidelights.
Q

All trim is white and only the door itself is darker
