Feature wall; but keep white in between

Could do feature wall like this; with same stain as walnut top in study to tie it together. Would probs want thinner slats though with more white space in between

Graffito wall paper and elegant / cool light

Love the Graffito Wallpaper by Kelly Wearstler in combination with a cool light fixture

Wall paper pattern (don’t love this exact pattern necessarily, but like that it’s not geometric or something quick to be outdated)

I’m open to a tropical flora / fauna wallpaper — but here again it was the paper / wainscoting combo that caught my eye
Q
Photo
Textured wallpaper in foreground is an interesting idea (won’t date)

This is way too dramatic in style, but what I like is the simplicity (and cleverness) of using a single light fixture and a single wall treatment that work together so well! Genius

Simple wainscoting
Q

Like the simplicity of an architectural wall that has integrated / recessed lighting : simple yet very effective. I don’t think a dark wall is an option for our dining room though

This wainscoting is a bit too chunky (boarder panels too thick / wide) — but like the idea of this in white or neutral (bright) or something to complement the jewel green across the hall in the study (wainscoting would tie in with the theme in the master bedroom)
Q

Like the earthy material of the shade; but it has a more structure than the rattan shades so is a bit more sophisticated
Q
Photo
Light shade — like the neutral, organic tones — but this one is too flimsy
Q
Photo
Something to be said for a simple light fixture! Especially if we go for string architecture/ paper on feature wall
Q
Photo
Like the combo of natural/ earthiness with clean glass for light fixture. Best of both worlds
Q
Photo
Natural / earthy rattan light — but overall might be too organic

These again (I’ve saved them before for bedroom idea board) - I do still like the vibe
Q

Probably too organic a light fixture — but if shapes were more structured, could be cool
