YES! This could be it! Brick wall on window side with kitchen sink, dark counters and wood island and floors...could do this! Just wouldn't do the up cupboards....or at least all of them.

LOVE the beam and post to frame the kitchen. This would go great with the idea of a lower ceiling (9ft?) over kitchen corner and higher ceiling (11 ft?) over dining and great room...or at least over great room

Love this kitchen. Counters could be darker but love concrete... like stainless appliances, wood floor, wood "island"/table, want shelving up instead of cupboards.Could have wood beams on the ceiling to add to effect. Could have brick around a doorway...

If we go with concrete counters...the wood window frames for interior sure look nice to warm up the look.
