Lighting fixtures are really cool. I think we will want some sort of pendants or hanging fixtures that have a sculptural quality or bring some organic shape into the space.
So many kitchens seem a bit cold because they don't have any art in them. I like that this design includes a little breathing room for art on the wall.

Really like the color and texture play between wall finish and cabinetry. Perhaps we could carry color/texture in stone finish from the fireplace to the wall currently next to fridge, tying the two spaces/surfaces together.

Interesting ceiling treatment to work with angled ceiling and skylights. Also like the configuration of windows along the sink/counter, as long as there is a way to open some windows to achieve ventilation.

Appliance garage. For toaster, coffee grinder etc, if we don't do integrated wall coffee maker. I still want a way to store toaster on counter without being out on display all the time, so would really like this regardless of coffee station.

Nicely integrated appliances on wall with simple cabinets (maybe without hardware). Like the accent of one bold surface like the table side here. I could see incorporating a single bold surface like onyx, maybe on the island?
Idea for how the cabinets are handled leading into sloped ceiling corner. Taking advantage of vertical space for storage since we have such high ceilings on one side of the room, but low on the other.
