OVERALL FEEL: I LOVE this kitchen feel. So much beautiful texture and richness yet still cheerful and light. I notice the chrome sink and it still looks good with all the warm brass. The tone of the wood is beautiful and I notice that they have both painted white and blue cabinets and some open shelves. The back splash is beautiful and interesting (both with the pattern and texture) without overtaking the room.
OVERALL FEEL: Like the counter top, like the cabinets, like the combination of natural wood with painted cabinets. Like the rich tone of the wood. Do not like the idea of a wood vent for the stove. Also, would not want to cabinet panel the appliances. We are also more drawn to blue rather than green for the cabinets. Finally, the backsplash is nice (marble mosaic), but we don't think marble would be up to the splash action near the stove and sink.
OVERALL FEEL: I love the use of wood to add warmth and contrast. I also like the super glossy backsplash and the calm feeling invoked overall. Maybe could use some more color, but somehow the beautiful earthy grey of the cabinets and wood tones and other choices may this feel interesting and warm even though there is not as much color.
OVERALL FEEL: The combination of different textures and colors: wood in some cabinets, colors in some cabinets, glossy backspash (yet another texture), two different countertops. I also like the stain of the wood (not too light, not too dark, and warm). I like the clean lines of the cabinets. I'm not keen on the apron sink, nor the wood floor.

FLOORING: I love the herringbone floor tiles for our kitchen floor (but with a darker grout).

This is a nice clean design without trying to look modern. It seems classic, functional, and simple.
Another faucet that looks reasonable, but it seems a bit more chunky.
I like the idea of small shelves in the door. I like the contrasting colors (wood, white cabinets, and blue cabinets)
I like the wood planks used for open shelves.
"END CABINET:" I love this. It really adds to the overall character of the kitchen and is a good place to store some common items (mixing bowls, stand mixer, etc.) Having it open on three slides means that the light from the back sliding door would filter through (I think creating a nice effect).
"END CABINET:" This shows another view of the same.
"END CABINET:" This shows an open end cabinet but it would need to reach the floor.
"END CABINET:" This seems to be the proportions we'd have to work with and it goes to the floor. Do not love the "guard rails" on the shelves nor the plank behind. Would like something more historic and cozy looking (This reads as quite modern even though it does have natural woods.) Also, it is not open on three sides.
"END CABINET": I really like how the shelving in the island matches the open shelving above the sink. The down side is that it is not open on the sides (which makes sense in the above because it is on the long side rather than the short side of the island). I think it would be nice to have it open on three sides.
"END CABINET": This shows another open on three sides shelving solution. But the lines of the others have more character. Also, we would need the base to go all the way to the floor (so that we could have the tile line end). Also, it would need to extend to close in the seating area (some of the next photos show this.
"END CABINET": This shows how and end cabinet could work with seating next to it. I would like it better open on three sides and without the draw (talker shelves would be better.
"END CABINET:" If you imagine this also open on the side facing the window and facing the other part of the kitchen, this looks nice. (This is much wider than 12", but it gives the idea.)
"END CABINET:" This is not my favourite. It doesn't add as much character as some of the others. However, it does show something that extends down all the way to the floor.
PANTRY: On the right it shows a really nice idea for the pantry. The bottom is draws (full counter depth) but the top looks like about 18" and there is a bit of counter in between. This adds charm and interest (plus gives lots of draw storage).
