I like that these cabinets are a but higher than standard. If our cabinets are being custom built, we should have a serious conversation about heights

The wood bar height with white countertops could be a possibility if we end up with a design that lends itself to it
I like the barstools here that have backs that look like they could slide under the countertop
The seating at the end on all three sides is nice. I like the walnut cabinets with the white countertop, but I do not like the walnut hood.
This kind of door could be a way to get shallow shelving for single-depth spice & glass storage jar storage that we can easily see
The tiny ledge under the countertop in the seating area is interesting
