Part 1 of 3:Favorite kitchen layout/adjoining dining room If range wall (facing south) divides foyer from kitchen - you walk in from foyer on far (east) side of fridge.. the dining area would be located at sliders to courtyard - open sliders for indoor/outdoor entertaining. West side of kitchen I would like room for my large round kitchen table. North end of house is all family/great room area… we could have a free standing fireplace wall dividing kitchen and great room that you can walk past either side… then in great room/2 sets of seating: 1 facing fireplace 1 facing tv on far north wall… exterior door on west side of house to access west and north ends of house
…If windows face west... Far wall (south) would divide foyer from kitchen. Possible walk in pantry in between foyer and the wall you see now... Kitchen side of "pantry wall" would have cabinets and counter space. Where the table and chairs are now, I would put my round table and chairs for kitchen eating…. A walk through would divide the kitchen from the parallel - east side of room - open "dining" area where I would put a very long rectangular table running parallel to island… To the right or North, spanning from the west to the east is all great room/living room At the far North end would be a 2 sided fireplace...
