I like that you can see across a courtyard from the kitchen to the other side of the house. It creates a great sense of space and the outdoors.

I love the rounded elements of thus design - it's very inviting!

Love how this is built around a courtyard with a lap pool

Love this home and architect. Too modern for us, but love the spectacular lifestyle details.

Love the light colored beams here. They give a rustic feel without looking heavy.
Q

Like the contrast between warm exposed beams and white walls, the stone and fancy marble
Q

Use of stone inside - could bring a bit of the rustic in a sophisticated way. Use local stone to keep the look relevant.
Q

Kitchen is connected to the outdoors via a sliding door - love that you could have fresh air without direct sun or bugs

High ceilings with light beams, outdoor view

Use of stone inside and outside connects the two spaces

Love the chalkboard next to the mudroom. We should do something like this next to the garage entrance to write notes to ourselves, kids, keep coupons, etc. Could be magnetic!

This could be a cute idea for a mudroom! Label each "locker" area with the kid's name so they have their own space :) Could also do something similar next to the garage for backpacks, school stuff.

I like that you can see the view from the second floor landing. It pulls the outdoors in, and creates a nice focal point at the end of the hallway.

Like the color of these floors - very french country! Would be nice for the main part of the home. Would like to use a floor with more texture in smaller parts of the house (see photo with the brick).

Love a floor with such character inside! Really adds texture & vibrancy to the hallway. Let's definitely do something like this! Wouldn't want to do this in a large space, but it looks great in a small area.

Combined mud room and laundry room!

This whole project is a nice modern take on Mediterranean! Like the floor wood color, the open floorplan, and the banister.
Q

Love the spruce color of this couch :) Need to incorporate this into the new home design somehow!

This could be a fun way to do a secret patio, off the his/hers offices, or the master suite. Private outdoor area.
Q

Love the integration of indoor / outdoor with the patio and trees. Would love our home to be sympathetic with the trees on the property and bring the outdoors in.
