Reply to: I just want to add an explanation as to why your labs were drawn at 3:30 AM. They are done that early so the results will be available to your doctors at the start of their morning rounds. Having the results available to them means they can write new orders to deal with anything outside of normal and if all looks good, they can start the the discharge process. It might seem crazy to be awakened to have blood drawn but it lays the foundation for the plan for the day. Wishing you a fast recovery.
