Not as feminine
Baseboards match floor. Pretty.
Baseboards match door trim and contrast walls and floor. They look great with the feature doors and neutral floor.
Stone tile baseboards
Baseboards don't match trim. Metal or painted black?
White baseboards.
Here the baseboards match wall but so does the door moulding.
Here baseboards contrast.
Baseboards match floor.
Should baseboards match the floor?
Teeny tiny baseboard. Huh.
Modular sectional. White (hah!) but interestingly, this one goes to floor. Not sure if I like that or not.
Contemporary done warm.
Gorgeous live-edge coffee table.
Oooooh, pretty chandelier!
This furniture looks comfortable! Just not in white.
I love the sconces, the dimensional tile on the fireplace, the bold color of the couch, the burled wood side-table, the pale but not quite neutral rug.
Thinking about lighting. LED?
The irregular shelves are modern looking.
I don't like the dark contrast of these backlit ceiling panels. But I do like the backlit aspect.
Floating ceiling panels. These are metal so not much use for sound dampening.
The bubble lights are starting to feel overdone, but I still love them. This eclectic grouping adds interest.
Floor even looks good in the bathroom.
Another view of wood tile floor.
Wood tile floor
scale concrete floor.
Much richer floor coloring. I like this.
An epoxy coating on the floor -- does that allow any color you wish?
I like this much better than gray.
"Concrete ground down to expose the aggregate"? I like this better than plain concrete.
I do like the wood dividing the concrete squares.
This came up under a search for concrete floors, but looks like it's probably marble. Is this look possible with stained concrete? Because I love it.
I do like this shade of brown. It has a more contemporary feel than the ones with orange/red in it, but still feels warm.
This polished concrete is gray with speckles. I like that better than the plainer gray.
This floor color has a cozy warmth to it, which is less contemporary but R may prefer for the basement poker room.
I definitely like the floors that look less like concrete.
Also pretty floor.
But I like the dark floor better.
Beige floors, also nice.
A little gray mixed in the floor color is nice, but the color of the wood is important in choosing floor color.
I don't like the gray.
Acid stain concrete floors. Also pretty.
I like the dark concrete.
