If the tap is pulled outwards (away from the wall) then cabinets can be placed above the sink by the window without knocking heads.... good solution to the problem i thought i would avoid by completely removing the cabinets

consider the top shelf on top of the fridge and a wall paper for both with a color similar to the cabinets

I also wonder if those just above the fridge and right below are vents, perhaps to allow cooling of the fridge??

Notice that the cabinets did not start from the ceiling, one can use gypsum boards to lower the ceiling and the cost of cabinets which are sold by sqm, also the cabinets on top of the hood are not functional but decorative,
