I saved this picture because it reminds me of the layout of my kitchen (minus the water view). Huge island with eating island at end by doors that will open onto covered patio. Sink will be where they show stove.

seats on one side , maybe on the end. 10ft cabinet height. island one color. perimeter different color. consider hood that will extend up through ceiling...will be tall. Ceiling height is 12ft in kitchen.
