Some headboard ideas. Nothing terribly inspiring to me right now but there are some interesting ideas in here.

Cool use of floating shelves as night stands, wall sconces for bedroom lighting, and multiple area rugs to soften the hard floors.

This is a good picture to show Alicia as to what you are talking about with a big area rug under/around the bed. Add a bench to the end of the bed and maybe a cool headboard to complete the look.

lots of cool idea here. Shelving vice headboard for bed, lights hanging from the ceiling instead of lamps on end tables, seating along window. Could combine lights hanging from ceiling with floating end table idea for space.

This would allow for a lot more options when placing/building the bed.
