My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Like the columns but not the step back. Can this be done without the step back; keep solid piece of horizontal wood, then the lower part with the three divisions? Would this look good without the stepbacks adding dimension?

Can this hood be done in wood and hold up? Bring the down straight vertical to be flush with the front of the cabinets and the flare part out. Costly?
