ACR Construction

ACR provided excellent workmanship and readily accepted responsibility for subcontractors. They were prompt and responsive to questions. I recommend ACR highly.

ACR construction, owned by Andre Drost, was highly recommended to me by a long-time friend and well-respected interior designer Andre is a very experienced contractor with a long resume of varied and complex projects. He has taught his team well, and keeps a tight handle on quality control. He makes good use of his smarts, creativity and skills in any situation that requires it, and I saw that first hand with my project. Because of my existing plumbing in my older home, and the required changes to move plumbing fixtures, I knew that the appearance of another wall area in an adjacent room would be compromised because of my inability to purchase the same wall material. Andre came up with a brilliant solution, and it looks great! His “can do attitude” may be his best asset! During the original project, I added other painting and drywall projects, bi-fold door re-do’s, etc, that I had put off for a long time. Andre was able to give me a detailed estimate and get the projects done beyond my expectations. Professionalism, high quality workmanship, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and complete follow through are the norm with Andre and his team. And knowing that any subcontractors that ACR Construction uses have to meet Andre’s standards, gave me complete confidence in each of them. To sum it up, my project is a good story with a happy ending, and I highly recommend ACR Construction!

We hired ACR Construction, Inc. to add crown molding with a picture mold to our Master Suite. Andre and his team completed a similar project for us on our four season porch a couple years ago. Andre stopped by and bid the project shortly after we made the request for bid. (RFB) After the initial bid, we ask Andre to add a beam to the project - as his team did on the four season porch. The project was started and finished as promised! Andre and his team are professional. The team members showed up on time, worked diligently, were mindful of the pets, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. If they had a question they asked. If I had a question, they answered. We would recommend Andre and his team to anyone who inquired. And, we will projects in the future that ACR Construction will get first chance at 'getting the work'. THANKS to Andre and his team of professionals!!!

The experience I had working with ACR construction was exceptional. Andre and his team are a great group of people to work with – they have hold themselves to a high standard of excellence, and delivered a remodel that was better than I ever thought it could be – I love the work they did! I can’t wait to work on another project with them.

ACR Construction did a kitchen add-on and full remodel. I couldn't say enough good things about the process and the results. I live in a 1924 Tudor and had strong reservations about increasing the footprint. I didn't want it to look like a tacked-on box but I also needed additional kitchen space. We spent as much time on the exterior design as the interior. The attention to detail and craftsmanship on the exterior actually enhances the original design. The interior is as functional as it is beautiful. Again, I wanted to complement the 1924 structure. I needed wood floors that tied to the original floors throughout the house. I needed modern appliances and convenience but not modern finishes. I did a full kitchen gut and there is nothing convenient about the process but I came home each night to a cleaned up construction site that made the process a little easier. In the end, I got a beautiful enlarged kitchen that was delivered on time and budget. Andre was great to work with.

André Drost of ACR Construction was one of three contractors that responded, viewed the house, and submitted a written bid proposal for extensive remodeling of our home. We chose ACR based on the detail André put in his written proposal, on the total cost, and on a proposed schedule that would meet our targeted completion date. Once work started, André coordinated the various parts of our remodel and directed his team very well. He performed certain detailed construction tasks himself, devising solutions to "quirks" that developed at times. He listened to our requests for certain changes and extras during construction. He worked very well with us to fit in and complete these changes. He and his team fixed any discrepancies and errors found during the project. ACR Construction finished their work including changes on time. The total cost ended within the proposed budget, as revised by extras we had requested. André and his team met our expectations with their strong attention to detail. Complete remodel of the kitchen which included the removal of walls. Installation of new kitchen appliances. New floors throughout condo and painting of walls and ceilings. Absolutely wonderful job from beginning to end and the highest quality in workmanship. I would hire no one other than ACR Construction!

We had the privilege of using ACR construction to enclose a screened-in porch into a year-around living space. We were extremely pleased with the process and the result. We especially appreciated the workmanship and attention to detail that Andre and his crew exhibited.
