We engaged Alair to renovate the main floor of our home. What set them apart was clear and regular communications, meetings on site, and regular updates on the budget so there were no surprises. Every time the trade invoice came above the original estimation we were consulted, and no decision was made without our sign off. The timeline they gave us was very accurate and work was finished with only a month delay. They have multiple trades, in one case when we were not happy with the trade they switched the trade and redid the work with no additional cost to us. Overall, we are quite happy with how our renovation was done and recommend them for their quality work.

The team at Alair Homes Forest Hill is so professional -- and fun! The entire process from initial iquiry to project completion was supported by open and clear commuications, regular budget and timeline updates, and personable check-ins. They have a wide network of trade partners who are also best-in-class professionals. Through their detailed record keeping and client portal there are no surprises, and every aspect of the project can be referenced at any time. As with any large project, with many moving parts, and variables out of their hands (a worldwide pandemic!), our project had a few hurdles, but the Alair team cleared them and exceeded our expectations in ensuring everything was perfect.

We chose Alair to help us build an addition to our home, having used them before to completely renovate the existing structure. And, as before, we were incredibly happy with the process and the outcome. Alair's general approach is something that appealed to us, but their project managers add to the overall experience. In our case, Andrew P. ensured that we were taken care of from beginning to end, communicating consistently and openly along the way. He was there to ensure all the details were taken care of and that our priorities were considered at every step. We'd use Alair again, and feel very confident in recommending them to anyone we know.

Alair did a great job realizing the designs that we had chosen. We had a strong vision of what we wanted and it was amazing to see it materialize as the project went on. They had a strong project management practice which got the project done in a timeframe that we were impressed with. Their system is very transparent so you know where you are with budget and timing. There were not any gotchas that we found out about after the money was spent. We were able to make choices in real time and see the effect on our budget. They also did not disappear after we moved in, and moved the inevitable trail of things towards completion. Overall we had a great experience with them.

We recently completed a full home renovation and had the pleasure of working with Andrew and Chad throughout the process. Our initial meeting with Andrew put us at ease as he was low pressure and prioritized transparency. After meeting Chad, our project manager I immediately appreciated thoroughness and honesty. Throughout the renovation I found that both Chad and Andrew were always available to chat, managed the project well and were open with us, giving us the opportunity to make the big decisions with lots of information and consultation. Moreover, the quality of work was fantastic and I remain impressed nine months following the completion of the project. I continue to be impressed with Chad's follow ups months after the renovations are completed. It is clear that he prioritizes the client's satisfaction over the long term, which speaks to his interest in doing quality work. I would highly recommend Alair to anyone that I know and, should the opportunity arise in the future, I would definitely work with them again.
