Belinda grew up in elegant and beautiful surroundings in her home country of Cuba. Her family emigrated here when she was ten, thus the importance of creating beauty and harmony in one's surroundings. "Home is where you are," she says. "It's a haven and the core of our existence. To create an environment that is beautiful and inviting, I draw on my experience with color, form and balance," she says. "I want my clients to love the finished result.” Belinda is adept at working in soft, neutral palettes or strong color. Whatever the style, Belinda opts for natural and sustainable materials whenever possible, including wood, marble, slate, granite and textured or patterned textiles made of linen, silk, wool, and cotton. All of this enables her to create the sophisticated yet livable interiors that are the signature of Belinda’s Style. Belinda is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Interior Design Society (IDS) and is certified in Real Estate Staging.
